Daily departure
DAY 01 :Istanbul
Upon arrival istanbul, meet at the airport and Transfer to hotel
Day at leisure and overnight stay in istanbul
DAY 02: Istanbul
Breakfast, then we move on to visit some of the most important
historical sights of Istanbul such as the Blue Mosque, St Sophia,
Grand Bazaar Hippodrome Obelisk and Topkapi Palace (Harem room
optional extra). In the evening back to hotel & Overnight
in istanbul
DAY 03: Istanbul, Izmir, Ephesus
Early morning transfer to airport for a morning flight to izmir
(Takes an hour)
On arrival Izmir meet at the airport and transfer to Ephesus
and a full day tour to Ephesus; one of the grandest cities in
the Roman world. Drive to Meryemana and visit the house of Virgin
Mary. Continue to Ephesus the Capital of Asia Minor. Visit the
ruins of Odeon, Herculas gate, the temple of Hadrian, the magnificent
library, Agora and fantastic Greco Roman theatre. Overnight in
Kusadasi
DAY 04: Pergamon
Breakfast, departure for Pargamon and visiting a city dating
back to the time of Alexander the Great and once one of the main
centers of learning in the ancient world. Visit Acropolis, the
Steepest theatre of the ancient World. Asclepion was one of the
best medical centers of its time and included Galen Overnight
in Izmir.
Day 05: Izmir to Ankara
Breakfast and check out and transfer to domestic airport 08:00
am morning flight to Ankara. Arrival Ankara an hour later and
we move on to visit the Mausoleum of Ataturk, founder of modern
Turkey, and the museum of Anatolian Civilizations with its
Hittite treasures and artifacts. Then en-route to Cappadocia,
famous for its "moon
like" landscape and underground cities, we will stop to tour the 13th century Agizikaran
Caravanserai.Overnight in Cappadocia
DAY 06: Istanbul to Cappadocia
Breakfast, around 09:30 starting the tour to visit Devrent Valley,
Monk's valley (Pasabagi) where you will find the world known
fairy chimneys. Break for lunch in Avanos and then continue
on to the Goreme Open-Air Museum where you will visit the numerous
rock carved churches and monasteries and Uchisar, Dinner & Overnight
stay in Cappadocia
DAY 07: Cappadocia
Breakfast ,another full day tour this time to visit the famous
Derinkuyu Underground City. Afterwards a short hike through
the green Ihlara Valley along the stream visiting some of the
churches along the way. Stop in Belisirma for lunch and then
on to Selime for a panoramic view and then transfer to Kayseri
airport for an evening flight to istanbul.
Arrival an hour later, transfer to hotel and check in. Overnight
in istanbul.
DAY 08: Bosphorus Cruise
Breakfast at hotel after which we drive Eminonu Port to board
the regular city boat for a 2 hour Bosphorous Cruise. Enjoy
this relaxing cruise along the shoreline while your guide explains
to you the history of sights seen while onboard. We then continue
on land to visit the magnificent Dolmabahce Palace and then
also visit Camlica Hill. Overnight in Istanbul
DAY 09: TOUR ENDS (Meals: Breakfast)
Breakfast and your transfer to airport as per your flight departure
time.
